Automatic ArtPretty pictures seem to go hand in hand with computers and this is just another example. Some mathematic formula offer bewildering sequences of numbers but viewed through a different light, through colour they become understandable. The image generator here is still under development but currently represents colour as a 3D vector with red, green, and blue axis. The only transformation used is to rotate this vector around one of these axis, and repeat this again and again to form the sequence of images here. To see another set of images click the applet and the picture generator will restart. For more detail examination the source code is available: CreditsThis work was inspired by genetic art which was first used by William Latham and was shown at an Edinburgh based world wide web experiment.
