Markdown to PowerPoint

When you writing documentation for your project Markdown lets you concentrate on the words rather than complicated formatting. You can take the same approach with PowerPoint. There are multiple tools out there which will do this.

I’ve used marp and it makes very easy to make a presentation quickly.

If presentations are a big part of your job you can undoubtedly do a better PowerPoint presentation. However this is a way to get something done quickly. A lot of customisation is possible so it doesn’t have to look plain.

I’ve not tried it but this could also be easily integrated into a build system. The latest figures could be used to automatically build a report each day.
